With Plumbline’s Plumbing Apprenticeship Program, you can obtain on-the-job skills, training, and the experience you need to begin a successful career as a licensed plumber. The good news? You don’t have to spend countless hours in a classroom and thousands of dollars on a college degree to get where you want to be. As a Plumbline apprentice, you’ll get paid while you learn and work alongside our experienced and knowledgeable team.


How Plumbline Apprenticeships Work


As an apprentice, you will be expected to maintain a high level of responsibility within the drains department. And, you will learn from the best in the business. Our experienced team of Plumbline master plumbers will show you the ropes as you learn your trade and embark on an exciting and lucrative career. 

Plumbline Plumbing Apprenticeship
 

  • Step 1: You will begin working as a drain professional under the supervision of a Plumbline Master Plumber. 

  • Step 2: We will register you as a plumbing apprentice with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

  • Step 3: You will participate in Plumbline’s in-house training, and once you graduate, you will gain a Certificate of Completion from Nextec Academy (Plumbline/Nextec).

  • Step 4: You will be part of a one-year ride-along program with the Plumbline Plumbing Department.

  • Step 5: Your apprenticeship hours are certified, and you will test for a Residential Plumber license with the Colorado DORA.

  • Step 6: Additional plumbing hours are certified, and you will be eligible to test for a Journeyman Plumber license with the Colorado DORA.

What You Will Earn as A Plumbline Plumbing Apprentice
 

  • $19/hour + 2% of all gross receipts (first year)

  • $20/hour + 2% of all gross receipts (second year)

  • Full benefits package

  • Paid training

  • Necessary apprenticeship hours and testing for certifications as required by the Colorado DORA for plumbing licensure.
