Price: What is the Cost of a Sump Pump Replacement?

The only way we can give you an accurate price is through a free in-home estimate. However, we can say that the price varies based on these factors:

  • Type of sump pump: There are two main types of sump pumps — pedestal pumps and submersible pumps. Pedestal pumps are less expensive. Submersible pumps are more expensive but are quieter.

  • Type of floor: If we're installing a new sump pump, the installation cost can increase if you have thick cement or concrete floors. If we're replacing an existing sump pump, the size and capacity will need to match without adding any additional costs.

  • Sump pump location: If the plumbing installation location is dense and complex, your installer will have to take extra care, which will increase the cost.

  • Backup battery included or not: Sump pumps can be wired into your home electrical system, but if your power goes out during a storm, your sump pump won't work. We recommend getting a sump pump with a backup battery.

  • In-home estimates are free!
