Meet the Plumbline Leadership Team

I came to Plumbline in 2009 during the Great Recession, thinking this would be a temporary position. However, I fell in love with the industry, and I saw tremendous growth potential with the company. What I love most about Plumbline is the people: We are like a big family who are passionate about serving our clients and helping our teammates reach their full potential. And I love that we are a company based on Christian ideals—this allows me to live out my faith while I work.

I also appreciate that we support so many charities in our community and abroad. Helping those less fortunate is important to my wife and me, and we do our best to personally support our church, the Denver Rescue Mission, Wild Animal Sanctuary, Blue Bench, Zimbabwe Mission Partnership, Hope for Haiti, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Campus Ministries, Prison Fellowship, Salvation Army, St. Jude’s, ALS, and Wounded Warrior.

My wife and I have been happily married since 1990 and are blessed with three wonderful children. Our eldest daughter is a nurse who cares for disabled children, our middle daughter runs the Wild Animal Refuge, which rescues and rehabilitates large carnivores, and our son is a Marine who also works in the aerospace industry. We are also grandparents, and we couldn’t be happier!

Outside of work and spending time with family, we love to ski, travel, ride bikes, camp, and spend time in the beautiful Colorado mountains, but nothing is more important than my relationship with Jesus Christ. Without Him, nothing else matters. 

Hands down it’s the people of Plumbline Services that make it my employer of choice. When you’re surrounded by people of high character, people who are committed to the company and to the mission, people who will drop everything to serve others and who inspire me to be a better me, it creates an environment that lets me enjoy coming into work every day. Having experienced good times and bad in a variety of industries, I was really looking for an opportunity to set roots in an industry that was indispensable, and a career in the service industry does that.

A respected associate from a prior employer had “tested the waters” and reached out to me. Having served together in stagnant corporate environments, he knew that Plumbline’s culture as well as the opportunities for growth would appeal to me. That was a decade ago, and I’m still appreciative of the opportunity. There’s only one mission, and it’s to serve others. Regardless of whether you’re serving a client or serving the people who serve our clients, that mission is easy to embrace because it makes you feel good about what you do each day.

I’ve been married for more than 15 years and I credit some of that success to coming home feeling good about what I’ve done for the day. We have two kids, a boy and a girl, and I try really hard to bring the servant’s heart home with me. I’m committed to my family, to the success of our marriage and of our children and spend as much time as possible with them outside of work enjoying the simple things like camping and other outdoor adventures.

Plumbline Services offers an environment where you can succeed as a professional but still feel like you are part of a small family. Our managers and employees work together to accomplish our goals and are always looking to improve themselves. I enjoyed math classes in school and was always interested in business management operations. Accounting seemed to be a perfect fit, and I am happy I chose this route. I joined Plumbline because I wanted to join a successful local company with great expertise in its field and a fantastic reputation.

My goal is to serve our clients and our employees to the best of my abilities. I always strive to make sure that our clients are taken care of and the team feels supported.

I met my wife at a previous job, and we have three daughters. We always enjoy discovering new places in Colorado and try take at least a few trips to the mountains and local lakes. We also enjoy trips to zoos, parks, museums, and other local attractions.

I landed at Plumbline when my boss from a previous job found a home here and had an opportunity for me after I graduated from college. I was working in a different department within Plumbline and an opportunity presented itself for me to work in Human Resources. I liked the idea of working for and with everyone within Plumbline. Even as we continue to get bigger, it still feels like we are one big family at Plumbline.

The integrity of the company is important to me, because like people, Plumbline is not perfect, but I believe we always try to do the right thing.

I actively participate in organizations Plumbline supports, but I also support the ALS Association and the Food Bank of the Rockies on a personal level.

My wife and I met in 2008 through mutual friends, and we have four children: two girls and two boys. I love spending time with my family as well as watching and playing sports, especially hockey, baseball, football, and golf!

I strongly recommend that people investigate the trades as a career path. The right company like Plumbline can start you out from knowing nothing and train you all the way through to becoming a licensed technician or plumber. This way you can make a living while you learn, versus going into debt in school. I personally chose a career in the trades as an attempt to stay recession-proof. There will always be a need for skilled tradespeople.

Plumbline’s core values align perfectly with my personal values. The company culture at Plumbline allows for not only professional growth but also personal growth. Plumbline’s management truly cares about the success of the individual employee and their family. I have seen the company step up and support employees and their families when most companies would just focus on the profit. I feel that everyone cares for each other at Plumbline.

I have two sons, and my passion is to share my outdoor knowledge with them and spend as much time as possible enjoying the wonderful beauty of nature. I love to be deep in nature, and this includes the mountains and the beach. In fact, I love to be near water so much that I have two different large aquariums in my house, one freshwater and one saltwater.

When I was younger, I originally wanted to learn a trade so I could have something to fall back on as I worked my way through college. As it turned out, I fell in love with plumbing, and I decided right away that I would put all my efforts into this field. It has opened so many opportunities that I am truly grateful. It opened doors to sales and management as well. In addition, you can get paid training while on the job.

I enjoy the culture at Plumbline Services the most—it’s a professional environment that encourages personal growth. I was a manager at a competing company and wanted to go back into plumbing sales. I purposely chose Plumbline Services, not only because it offers growth opportunities but because the culture aligned with my personal values.

I started at Plumbline Services as a part-time call center representative right after I graduated from college with my marketing degree. As the company grew and positions opened, I took advantage of those opportunities. When the Marketing position opened, I was offered the chance to apply, and it’s been a great fit.

I like the family atmosphere at Plumbline, and I love the culture and the Core Values behind everything we do. Our Core Values align with my beliefs and how I try to live my life. Supporting local organizations means a lot to me, so Plumbline’s community involvement is key.

Outside of work, I’ve thrown my support behind ALS research because my father-in-law was diagnosed and later passed away.

When I’m not working, my husband and I take our daughter to the zoo and to the park. I also enjoy reading, writing, running, and working out. In a past life, I was a volleyball player and still enjoy playing every now and then.

I chose a career that will allow me to help others: Contributing to someone else’s success is the number-one reason why I became a manager, and Plumbline Services allows me to do that every day. This is a fun and friendly company to work for, and I thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day. I was impressed with the vision and growth presented to me when I interviewed here. Plumbline Services continues to grow year after year, and it’s exciting to be part of the growth.

I try to live out my ethics by donating my time and resources to Struggle of Love Foundation, an organization that provides back-to-school supplies for low-income families. They also provide food, school uniforms, and free tutoring.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and one grandchild, walking, listening to jazz and gospel music, attending church, and shopping online.

I chose to get into the plumbing trade because It was more stable than the new-home industry in the mid-1980s. My wife and I had just given birth to our 1^st child when I started with Plumbline in 1999. I loved the family feel from the first time I spoke to the owners, and that has continued.

My values are tied to those of the company—faith, ethics, character, excellence, leadership, stewardship—and I remain proud that I was part of the team who created Plumbline’s Core Value pillars. “Stewardship” is one of the values I live by: supporting and coaching at a local BMX (Bicycle Motocross) track to help kids get outside and stay active as well as to introduce them to a competitive sport. I race BMX locally and nationally, and I am currently the six-time Colorado State Champion in the classes I race.

My wife and I were introduced through a mutual friend in 1994, and we have two children: a son and a daughter.

I was always mechanically inclined and a natural at troubleshooting. Plumbline Services has provided a work family I have grown to appreciate and rely on. The company has also given me pathways to grow and prosper in the HVAC industry. Working at Plumbline gives me a real sense of accomplishment and satisfaction at the end of the day.

I live my life according to Christian ideals, so the foundation Plumbline was built on—faith, ethics, character, excellence, leadership, stewardship—is something I value and work every day to uphold.

When I’m not working, I enjoy camping and four-wheeling, exploring the Rocky Mountains, and spending time with my four children.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, I wanted to find a career that gave me an opportunity to work with my hands and consistently challenged me, both mentally and physically.

The culture of Plumbline allows everyone to grow. I like that the company stresses the importance of providing outstanding service to our clients, with the understanding that our clients come first, and that we stand behind our work without exception. I landed here because I saw an opportunity to lend my skill set to a company that really spoke to my personal goals and core values. I truly believe our faith-based culture separates us from other service companies because it allows us to proceed with a servant’s heart to ensure our clients’ concerns are always our priority.

I’m an active member of my church congregation, and I’m a member of our Board of Education. Being an Eagle Scout myself, I’ve invested time as a leader in the Boy Scouts to give our younger generation a chance at a strong foundation in being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and relevant members of our communities.

I’ve been blessed to have married a wonderful, beautiful, fun, caring woman. We met in high school and were great friends, but we went different directions once we graduated. Years later, we reconnected, and the rest is history. We have three children: a son who is serving our country in the United States Marine Corps and two daughters who I couldn’t possibly be prouder of!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy taking our dogs out to the dog parks. I also enjoy Colorado outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping; volunteering at church and singing in the choir; and attending sporting events and concerts.

After I graduated from college, I worked with my uncle as an electrician, and I fell in love with the work. College isn’t necessarily for everyone and getting into the trades is a way to have a great life without the burden of student loans weighing you down.  Plumbline Services was hiring in 2009 when I was looking for my next career move. I interviewed with them and was immediately drawn to the organization’s core values.

I enjoy working at Plumbline for the team atmosphere; we are all working toward the same goals of delivering fast, thorough, and courteous customer service. I have no problem sleeping at night knowing that the company will back my decisions, which align with my ethics.

My wife and I were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend and have been together ever since. We have three children: one girl and two boys.

I enjoy spending time with them as well as bowling, working on my cars, camping, and riding my motorcycle.

After serving in the military, I was looking for a career that was stable and could support my family. I had an opportunity to start as an apprentice, and I fell in love. I’ve learned over the years that setting goals and building a reverse timeline to achieve those goals almost always leads to success.

Plumbline gives each team member opportunities for personal and professional growth, and I enjoy the team-building culture. I knew working at Plumbline would open the doors I needed to achieve my goals.

The Plumbline team cares about our clients’ service satisfaction, and each person goes to great lengths to make that happen. If we take care of our clients, they take care of us.

My wife and I have been married since 2015, and we have three great kids: two beautiful daughters and one handsome son.

Outside of work, I have a lot of hobbies. (My wife calls them “revolving hobbies,” and it drives her nuts!) Currently I’m investing in sports cards and diving into the resale market on eBay. 

For the past 30 years, warehouses and logistics have been my game. I thrive on the challenges and the constant puzzle of optimizing systems and finding solutions to keep things flowing. But times change, and skilled trades like plumbing, HVAC, and electrical are awesome career paths these days – something to consider!

What really drew me to Plumbline Services was the people and the company culture. I wanted a strong company that valued its employees, a place where I could put my logistics experience to work and help the business grow. Their mission of putting the customer first and doing the right thing by everyone – that resonates with me. It's how I operate too.

Outside of work, you'll find me on my motorcycle, often participating in charity rides for ALS and cancer research. These causes are personal – I lost loved ones to both diseases. I've also been married for almost 22 years, with two amazing daughters keeping me young. When I have some free time, I love jamming on the guitar or exploring historical sites.

My journey in logistics might be long, but my love of a challenge and Plumbline's supportive environment make this the perfect fit.

My career path took a surprising turn. From the banking world, a chance encounter led me to a new media startup, where handling invoices ignited a passion for numbers I never knew I had. With dedication and mentorship, I transitioned from bookkeeper to corporate accountant, eventually landing a leadership role.

One thing I always tell young people is to find a workplace with great people! Positive colleagues make a world of difference. That's exactly what I found at Plumbline Services. As someone new to the industry, I'm impressed by the welcoming team and their willingness to share their knowledge. The exceptional benefits package and the company's commitment to ethical practices solidified my decision to join Plumbline.

Outside of work, I'm a family man – 13 years married with two amazing kids. When I find free time, I enjoy hitting the slopes, golfing, or taking a motorcycle ride. My journey to accounting might not have been traditional, but my love of learning and Plumbline's supportive team make this the perfect fit.
