$26,000 Douglas County Fair & Rodeo: August 2016

August 30, 2016

Throughout the month of August, Plumbline has given a lot back to the community where it all began for them. The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo, in Castle Rock, was held at the beginning of the month. Plumbline Services participated in the parade, as well as the Junior Livestock Sale.

Plumbline Services was honored to be the highest bidder on the Grand Champion steer at the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo! Our Vice President, Jon, and General Manager, Bob, bid $26,000 on behalf of Plumbline Services on the steer raised by Matthew Hinners. The Grand Champion weighed in at 1,338 lbs.

Hundreds of young adults participate in the sale of livestock each year. These young adults learn valuable lessons in hard work and responsibility. The money we donated will go to Matthew to help him continue his education.

Also, we participated in the parade held at the end of the fair. This is always a fun and exciting event for our employees and their families, and we love being able to interact with the community who has helped make our success possible! Check out our video below recapping the 2016 Douglas County Fair & Rodeo parade.

Plumbline Services loves to give back to the community it serves and it's an honor to continue to help the youth in the community where we first started.
