Douglas County: August 2017

August 30, 2017

Plumbline Services was founded 19 years ago in Douglas County, in the city of Castle Rock. Because of our history there, we love being involved and helping out the Douglas County community. This past month we had various opportunities to do that. We were honored to participate in the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo Parade, the Junior Livestock sale and the 15th annual Taste of Douglas County.

This year’s Douglas County Fair & Rodeo Parade was so much fun. Our theme recognized our past and present ExtraordinAIRy Treasures and we were able to have a few of them on the float. It was an honor to show them off to the Douglas County Community. Check out our short video recapping the parade below.

We also participated in the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo Junior Livestock Sale. Raising livestock helps children and young adults learn valuable life lessons in hard work and responsibility. By participating in the Junior Livestock Sale these young adults raise money to continue their education. For the second year in a row, we were the highest bidder in the auction for the Grand Champion Steer raised by Maguire. We were also the highest bidder in the auction for a sheep raised by Grace.

The Taste of Douglas County is a fun, and delicious, event with food and drink samples from a variety of restaurants in the area. While we didn’t have any food or drink samples to contribute to the event, it was an honor to help sponsor an event that promotes local restaurants and businesses.

Plumbline Services always enjoys giving back and had a great time participating in these three events. This community has been so good to us over the past 19 years and it’s a great honor to be able to give back.
