$1,250 for Youth Athletics: March 2017

March 30, 2017

For the month of March, Plumbline Services was privileged to support and give back to two youth athletic programs in our community, The Douglas County High School Baseball team and Elevation Volleyball.

Plumbline has been supporting the DCHS Huskie baseball team for several years.

Douglas County High School is unable to supply the team with field maintenance and money for uniforms; therefore, this can cause financial strains on some of the families when they have to pay for these items out of pocket. The school's solution was to start a banner
fundraising program. The banner program supports both the players and the booster club. It is through this program that Plumbline supports the team. Our Plumbline Banner is proudly displayed in the outfield!
Elevation Volleyball is another youth athletic program we are excited to sponsor! This opportunity to support this organization was brought to our attention by our Plumbing Service Manager, Glenn! Glenn’s daughter, Taylor, has played volleyball at Elevation Volleyball for many years. Elevation Volleyball's goal is to prepare athletes to be the best volleyball player and person they can be. They help with basic skills from ages 5-14 years old. Once they reach 15 years of age, they focus on specific skills and positions to help them succeed on their high school teams and beyond to the collegiate level.
We are grateful to be able to help both of these organizations reach the youth in our community and make an impact in countless individuals lives.
