Stewardship (noun): The careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.
 (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

At Plumbline, stewardship is actually an action word. We believe we have a responsibility to take care of and give back to the community that has given us so much, and we have identified a number of organizations in the greater Denver area where we target our continued support. One of the most important factors in choosing each of these worthy causes is that a member of the Plumbline team or their family has been directly impacted by or benefitted from one of them.

Below are a few of the organizations Plumbline Services is passionate about supporting. If you're interested in having Plumbline Services
consider your organization for sponsorship, please contact us here.

Every year, Plumbline recognizes five extraordinary high school students from our community who might otherwise go unnoticed. Students are nominated for the Extraordinary Treasures award based on their proven leadership by example and ability to inspire others to be great. These students have typically overcome challenges yet have a heart for serving others. There are no requirements for GPA or career choice. Winners are awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

A Christmas on Us lends a helping hand to families and individuals who despite their own challenges, still help others. Plumbline partners with our local radio partners to deliver this wonderful program. Recipients are nominated by others who want to recognize and reward good service to others.

Nominations for 2023 are now closed.

Plumbline is a proud supporter of Support the Shield, an organization that helps fund many causes and initiatives including Shield 616 and COPS. Support the Shield also provides every first responder with advanced active shooter and crowd control gear, helps fund the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers, and also helps fund rewards for citizens who give police anonymous tips to solve crimes.

Plumbline honors our veterans and their families by co-sponsoring Serving Those Who Serve, an ongoing series on KDVR News that recognizes former military personnel who continue to serve by going above and beyond in our community. It’s our privilege to also make sure wreaths are laid every Memorial Day on the graves of fallen soldiers at Ft. Logan Cemetery.

The Zimbabwe Mission Partnership is a local group of 10 churches that work together to support an orphanage in Zimbabwe called Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care.

Members of the Plumbline family have been directly impacted by one or both of these types of cancer. We are happy to support the organization in its fight to cure cancer with groundbreaking research and pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches. Our Plumbline team is always ready to walk, run, or serve in Leukemia & Lymphoma Society events.

Every year, Plumbline team members and their families lace up their shoes and participate in the Walk to Defeat ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). In addition to researching treatments and a cure for this progressive, neurodegenerative disorder, the ALS Association serves, advocates for, and empowers individuals affected by ALS.

Suicide has painful ripple effects on families, circles of friends, and the community. Unfortunately, some Plumbline family members have experienced coping with the aftermath of suicide. We are honored to support the annual Walk Out of Darkness for AFSP. Funds raised help AFSP reach anyone who has lost someone to suicide and provide a path toward the light for those at risk for suicide.
